I’m sorry but these cookies were the worst I’ve ever made, and I followed everything in the recipe without substitutions. These cookies were horrendously sweet, and they came out very hard, crunchy, and dry. The batter did smell amazing prior to going into the oven (yes, I did chill it), and after being baked, I couldn’t taste any of that browned butter nuttiness, just sugar.
